From kitchen and bathroom upgrades to full structural remodels and large-scale home extensions, we manage every stage of the process, from initial planning and demolition through to construction and final finishes. Our goal is to create spaces that not only look great but also improve the way you live, work and relax. We are also fully licensed asbestos removalists with the skills and experience to safely remove dangerous asbestos from your family home.

Shane Langley

Managing Director
Shane is a registered builder with over 25 years of experience in the construction industry. Throughout his career, he has overseen and managed large-scale construction projects as well as completed a wide range of extensions and renovation projects. Shane has a strong passion for transforming houses into high-quality, beautiful, and functional homes that truly meet the needs and vision of each client.
 
His extensive experience allows him to approach every project with confidence, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality workmanship. From the initial planning stages through to completion, Shane works closely with clients to ensure their expectations are not only met but exceeded. His practical knowledge and problem-solving skills help ensure projects run smoothly, efficiently, and to the highest standard.
 
Shane is actively involved in all aspects of Intent Building Contracting’s projects. He believes in leading by example and works closely alongside his team on site, ensuring clear communication, strong teamwork, and a hands-on approach throughout the entire building process. His dedication, experience, and leadership help deliver results that clients can be proud of for years to come.

Stephen Langley

Apprentice

Our son Stephen works alongside us at Intent Building Contracting and has grown up around the building industry. From a young age he would join us on weekends and during school holidays, eager to help out wherever he could. Those early days on site sparked a genuine interest in carpentry and building, and over time that interest has grown into a real passion.

Now working as an apprentice carpenter, Stephen is learning the trade hands-on, gaining practical experience across all aspects of the building process. He enjoys the challenge of the work and takes pride in developing his skills, whether it’s framing, measuring and cutting materials, or helping bring a project together from start to finish.

Being part of the family business means a lot to him, and it’s rewarding to see his enthusiasm for the trade continue to grow. Stephen is hardworking, keen to learn, and committed to building a strong future in the construction industry alongside us.

Louise Langley

Office Manager

Louise plays a key role in both the day-to-day operations of the company and on-site support. In the office, she manages a range of administrative and organisational tasks, helping to keep projects running smoothly and ensuring clear communication between the team, suppliers, and clients.

In addition to her office responsibilities, Louise is often involved on site, assisting the team where needed and helping maintain the high standards the company is known for. Her versatility, reliability, and long-standing commitment to the business make her an important part of the Intent Building Contracting team.
